About the Intensest Rendezvous Scholarship
This is a $2500 scholarship that covers the Foundation Hours of the A-B Projects Ceramics Certificate (ABCC). The recipient is expected to cover tuition for the Elective Hours (cost for that can be as low as $500, or more depending upon which electives are chosen).
The ABCC is a unique, year-long, predominantly online program offering intense inquiry and fieldwork that is inspired and guided by a range of the most innovative practitioners in contemporary ceramics. Unlike traditional programs, the ABCC prioritizes ideas and process above technique or skill-based learning. The primary focus is facilitating new directions, approaches, and questions that expand a participant’s relationship to clay, and clay’s relationship to their broader practice as an artist. Those who self-identify as having financial need are particularly encouraged to apply.
