INDUSTRA STAGE OPEN CALL 2025

We are announcing an open call for performing arts residents for the year 2025! (Additional 2025 calls: exhibition and curatorial projects, visual arts and design residences, non-artistic profession residencies and internships, short-term residencies)
INDUSTRA provides residencies for artists in the field of performing arts. Located in the Nová Zbrojovka area near the center of Brno, a vibrant city full of students, INDUSTRA aims to support independent performing arts at both local and international levels.
GOAL
To provide artists with space and time for their creation, networking, international and interdisciplinary communication, and professionalization.
WHEN?
Residencies are provided year-round for a duration of 5 – 10 days.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Space for rehearsals in the rehearsal room and after arrangement on stage.
Technical and personnel support (by arrangement, a maximum of 3 days of a technician’s work).
Accommodation capacities for up to 8 people.
Residency capacities for up to 12 supported projects per year.
Financial support / honorarium for up to 4 selected projects.
OUTPUT FROM RESIDENCY
Residents will conclude their residency with a public presentation depending on the phase of the project they are working on (performance lecture, workshop, discussion, work-in-progress, premiere, etc.). Selected projects may be supplemented with a mutual commitment to repeat performances.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Send your portfolio and a brief description of the project you would like to work on at INDUSTRA. Selected applicants will be contacted to arrange an online meeting to discuss residency options and further cooperation.
WHEN TO APPLY
The application deadline for the year 2025 is July 30, 2024. Applications can also be exceptionally submitted throughout the year after prior telephone consultation.
