Floorr Magazine is currently seeking interview submissions from artists for our latest issue. If selected, your interview will be published in the latest issue, archived on our website, and promoted across social media. Please follow the guidelines below to submit your work for consideration:
Eligibility and Submission Guidelines:
- Artists: At all levels, open internationally.
- Accepted Media: All media types, including digital and video art.
- Submission Limit: Up to 5 completed artworks.
- Artwork Format: Images must be in JPEG format, with a maximum file size of 5MB each.
- Video Submissions: Provide links to video files along with still images for each piece.
- Age Requirement: You must be 18 or older to apply for any submission category.
How to Submit:
- Submission Fee: Is non-refundable. This fee helps support Floorr, which is independently run without external backing or funding.
- Create Your Profile: After paying the submission fee, you will be able to create your profile. add artist statement, your bio, and any relevant website links.
- Upload: You can submit up to 5 completed artworks. All artworks must be created by the artist.
- Deadlines and Updates: Submissions can be updated anytime before the deadline using your login details. Be sure to check your junk mail for the confirmation email containing your username and password.
What to Expect After Submission:
- Review Process: It may take up to 2 weeks after the submission deadline for your work to be reviewed.
- Notification: You will be notified of the results via email.
- No Feedback Sorry: Due to the high volume of submissions, individual feedback cannot be provided.
Artist Interview:
- If selected, your interview will be conducted via email.
- Your interview will be included in the latest online issue and permanently archived on the Floorr website.
Micro Grant
At Floorr Magazine, we are committed to supporting artists in meaningful ways. In addition to our regular submission process, we are offering a £150 Micro Grant to help one artist further their creative practice. This grant is designed to provide a small but impactful boost to an artist’s work and development.
- Prize: One artist will be awarded the £150 Micro Grant.
- Separate Fee: To be considered for the Micro Grant, there is an additional submission fee. This fee helps us maintain the grant program and ensures ongoing support for the artistic community.
- Eligibility: Artists must opt in by paying the separate fee for the Micro Grant. Must be 18 and over, open internationally.
- Selection Criteria: The winner will be chosen based on the quality, originality, and potential impact of their work.
- Notification: The selected artist will be notified within 2 weeks after the submission deadline.
By offering this grant, we aim to give back to the artistic community and provide tangible support for emerging and mid-level artists.
Online Exhibition (EXH)
- Accepted work will be exhibited online for the duration of the show in our virtual gallery.
- The exhibition will be promoted on social media, with an option for you to sell your artwork.
Sales (Optional For EXH Only):
- Floorr will handle communication for any sales and charge a 10% commission.
- Artists are responsible for professionally packing and shipping sold works.
- Artists must be willing to ship internationally, and buyers will cover the shipping costs.

Artist Directory Member
- You can also apply for the Artist Directory, which allows you to connect with curators, galleries, and buyers.
- Directory submissions are reviewed and if not accepted, your submission fee will be refunded (Directory applicants only).
