Associazione Demetra, in collaboration with Indisciplinarte and within the framework of the C.U.R.A. project (Umbrian Center for Artistic Residencies), promotes the Nutrimenti_Habitat Creativo 2024 residency.
The call is open to artists and collectives of all backgrounds and origins, with a preference for interdisciplinary approaches and an interest in participatory projects and performative and/or installation-based interventions in unconventional urban spaces, with particular attention to community engagement.
The residency will take place in Terni from January 8 to January 20, 2025, and will focus on the theme of Solastalgia, exploring the relationship between the environment, collective identity, and environmental change.
What does the residency offer?
For the Nutrimenti_Habitat Creativo 2024 residency, up to 3 artists will be selected to reside in Terni from January 8 to January 20, 2025.
Artists will have the opportunity to work both independently and in collaboration with each other and with creatives from the Demetra Association.
At the end of the residency, a public presentation is encouraged but not required, allowing artists to share the results and reections developed during their residency with the local community. The presentation may take any appropriate form, such as performances, installations, talks, or other experimental formats.
Each artist or collective will have access to:
● Shared accommodation for the entire residency period
● A stipend of €600 (gross)
● A food allowance of €200
● Travel reimbursement up to €200
● Logistical and organizational support
