“Tae’thir” project — influence in Arabic — invites Mediterranean artists and content creators to apply and produce original works on the theme: “Resisting Defeatism.” Up to 22 projects will be selected in the framework of this call.
The project offers artists and content creators several opportunities:
- Deepen their understanding of human rights through a series of online training sessions designed to stimulate critical thinking and foster the sharing of experiences – (online training/reflection cycle)
- Develop their skills with the support of a mentor to create and refine an artistic or content creation dossier – (mentorship cycle)
- Enrich their artistic and content creation practices through exchanges and connecting with local artists and stakeholders during a week-long workshop in Marseille – (multi-stakeholder workshop in Marseille)
- Showcase their work to the public and receive financial support of up to €3,000. (10 to 11 participants will have the opportunity to receive financial support, with announcements in September 2025, and present their productions in May 2026 in Marseille.)
Eligibility criteria
- The call is open to young artists and digital content creators aged 21 to 35.
- Applicants must originate from the following countries (not necessarily reside in them): Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Palestine, Portugal, Syria, Tunisia, and Turkey.
