The Baltimore Jewelry Center offers 4 different types of residencies for artists at different places in their careers. Artists are given bench access to our fully equipped metalsmithing studio situated in a vibrant community of jewelers and makers.
Please note that the call for residency applications happens once a year. Residency timing is dependent on the residents schedule.
Applications for our Emerging, BIPOC, and Mid-career residencies are due by February 15th, 2023.

This form requests the following materials:
- Letter of Intent: 1-2 pages including time period for when you would like the residency to occur (label as: LastName-FirstName-Statement)
- CV (label as: LastName_FirstName-CV)
- 15-20 images of your jewelry/metalwork/artwork (Please submit as a .pdf smaller than 100mb) (label as: LastName_FirstName-portfolio.pdf)
- 2 or 3 Letters of Recommendation: letters may arrive separately and should be emailed to info@baltimorejewelrycenter.org. Letters may also be physically mailed to:

Applicants must submit a $30 application via PayPal to info@baltimorejewelrycenter.org
The $30 application fee for our BIPOC residency has been waived. If applying for the BIPOC residency, you do not need to submit an application fee.
