044 (London based publishers of art books and experiments with the diversity of visual language.) is now open for submissions! To support emerging artists, there are no fees involved.
We are seeking early-career artists from all backgrounds, with no restrictions on artistic practices. Starting from June, we will feature an article for each selected artist on Instagram, website, and Xiaohongshu.
This is an ongoing project, with artist selections made on a monthly basis. Selected artists will receive an email notification. Artists who are not selected will also receive feedback via email. Please stay tuned, keep producing great work, and continue to stay in touch. If not selected, please refrain from reapplying within the same month. You can update your artistic research every month and send it to us.
We aim to discover talents from all corners of the world and build connections with London.
To participate, please send the following information to our email：044artstudio@gmail.com. A brief personal introduction (within 20 words), your area of practice and current artistic research (within 250 words), and 1-3 works you wish to showcase with a brief introduction (dimensions, size, number of pages, creation time, materials used, etc.). The works do not have to be art books. Please ensure that the total size of the images does not exceed 2GB.
