Felt Photographic: HERE I AM Open Call

Photographers are invited to submit works in response to HERE I AM, the forthcoming exhibition from Felt Photographic. Images that have been created to express who or where you (or we) are now – whether to help make sense of the present moment or to let go of the past and/or, the future. Images that show your unique perspective.

The exhibition will be curated entirely on the felt process – how the panel responds emotionally and somatically to works received. Felt Photographic celebrates the fundamental call to create – to help make sense of the world, who we are and our place in it. Felt Photographic believes that all art has value and our responses are entirely subjective, therefore submissions will not be critiqued, scored or judged – simply felt, noticed and appreciated.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Felt Photographic is the online gallery space from Feel More Creative www.feelmorecreative.org/feltphotographic
Any photographic artist (pro or amateur) over 18 may submit whilst the call is open from 9am BST Monday 29 April 2024 to 9pm GMT Sunday 16 June 2024. Max one image per artist, open to worldwide submissions.
Work can have been completed at any time but must be devised, created, owned and photographed (including post production) by the submitting artist alone (no workshops or other training shots permitted) and have been created for emotional expression, responding to the title, HERE I AM.
Work must be submitted via the online form only with jpg files no larger than 2MB; stills only, no moving graphics and without watermarks.
Please title your image with your NAME and SOCIAL MEDIA HANDLE.
All model permissions must be received in writing and evidence maybe asked for.
Any AI, art other than photography and non-original compositional elements (including stock photography) that are not photographed and owned by you, may not be used.
You must own the copyright and any evidence of plagiarism, AI or non-photographic art will cause your entry to be removed. You maybe asked to send your original RAW/JPG file/s as evidence.
Panel will select based on their emotional response only. As many submissions as possible will be shared @feltphoto (Insta), @feelmorecreative (Insta) and @feelmorecreativ3 (FB)
Artists selected for the exhibition will be notified on 28 June 2024 via email from kat@feelmorecreative.org so please monitor your Junk. Panel’s selection is final.

Copyright and all other intellectual property remain with the artist. By entering the open call you agree for your image to be used for show-casing and all marketing/promotional purposes by Felt Photographic and Feel More Creative. Artists will be credited wherever images are used with a single social media or website link.
Felt Photographic and Feel More Creative reserves the right to not include submissions that do not adhere to the rules or for any other reason deemed not in keeping with the premise of Felt Photographic.
Panel and all persons included in curating the exhibition and running the gallery space do so without any financial payment.
By submitting you agree to these terms and conditions failure to do so may result in your submission being disqualified.
Your details will only be used for the purposes of this exhibition, unless you sign up for the e-newsletter.
No correspondance will be entered into.
