- Sunday, June 30th, 2024: 11 am – 5 pm
Packing: Sunday, June 30th, 2024 (5 pm – 7 pm)
Our event offers a unique platform for artists of all mediums and styles to connect with art enthusiasts and collectors alike. The event will be open to the general public.
As an artist, you’ll have the chance to exhibit and sell your finest creations over the weekend. You will have a dedicated space to display your artwork on easels and tables (no wall space).
Participating artists will benefit from extensive event promotion through our and hotel’s social media channels and email marketing campaigns. Additionally, personal interview articles with participating artists will be featured on hotel social media pages, providing valuable exposure for your work.
Our team will be on hand to provide assistance with setup, ensuring a seamless experience for all involved.
All art sales made onsite at the fair should be processed through each artist’s personal payment system. There are no commissions charged during the event, ensuring that artists retain full control over their sales.
All accepted artwork from your applications will also be permanently displayed on our website and will receive an extensive worldwide online promotion.
Administration cost – 395 GBP
Your Fair Package will include:
- Information pack, posters & flyers
- Permanent website listing of artists name, artwork and contact information
- Extensive advertising, marketing and promotion
- Personal interview shared on the hotel pages
- Instagram features
- Supply of tables/ chairs for your space
- Advice on the curation of your layout if required
- Security throughout the exhibition
- Continuous support and advice regarding your art career and exhibiting with us
- All emails from our exhibiting artists are usually replied to within 48 hrs
Sales – No commissions will be charged.
This is not an Art Competition, by sending your application you agree to participate in the Art Fair event at Roseate Reading Hotel over June 29th – 30th, 2024.
Places are limited to 10, after a moderation, places are allocated over ‘first come, first served’ bases.
Do I have to be a gallery to apply?
No, we accept applications from solo-artists.
What type of work should I submit with my application?
Our aim is to produce a well-rounded fair that offers artwork to suit a range of tastes and budgets. Present your best artwork available for sales.
How many artworks can I bring?
Depends on the size and type of artworks, each artist will have a dedicated space and display table
Do the images need to be of the works I will be bringing?
Yes, in your application, please send us 2 pictures of the artwork you intend bring to the fair.
What is the price ceiling for the artwork accepted? £5,500 The goal is to sell artworks during the event, please set justified prices.
When will I hear if my application has been successful? As quickly as possible, but the process may take time up until the final results will be published on our website.
Are there any additional costs to be paid to the gallery? No
The artist is responsible for all personal costs related to travel, artwork delivery, transportation, artwork insurance, packaging, etc.
HelvetArt Gallery and Roseate Reading Hotel provides space and ensures care and custody of the artworks, however we decline any responsibility for damage to the artworks, theft or loss during the Art Fair event. The artist is the only one responsible for taking an insurance for artworks during the entire period of the event.
If my application is unsuccessful, will I get my deposit back?
Yes, we will fully refund you if your application is not accepted.
If successful, you will be contacted by email with an offer to exhibit.

For your application:
Image Requirements: Image should not exceed 2MB. Image should be in jpeg format.
– Image should NOT contain any frames, walls, watermarks or other objects in the picture. Only your artwork as it is. In doubt, please look at our past shows to see the accepted format.
– Image should be clear and in focus, this represents your work
