Since 2005, Künstlerhaus Dortmund has offered an artist residency during the summer months for artists from abroad from all fields of visual arts.
𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱:
4-6 weeks from mid-July (by arrangement).
𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Combined living/bedroom, shared kitchen, shower and WC on the floor.
𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲:
A workroom will be provided upon agreement.
𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞ü𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀:
• Travel allowance up to an amount of 500 EUR
• Subsidy for living expenses of 10 EUR per day in Dortmund
• Production costs subsidy of up to 500 EUR (only after consultation and submission of invoice)
The artist is responsible for his/her own health insurance.
A presentation at the end of the residency will be gladly supported. The Künstlerhaus will take care of the press and PR. The Künstlerhaus supports the guest artist in all organizational and practical matters.

Applications are open to foreign artists residing abroad in all fields of the visual arts without age restriction. However, students at German and foreign universities are excluded.
The applications received will be judged by a committee of members.
