Curators & Artists are welcome to submit proposals for 4 to 6 week exhibitions for work that would otherwise be challenging in a commercial setting. We believe the non-profit space can be part of a strong foundation for an emerging artist’s career. Established artists may also want to depart from previous bodies of work and start on a new path. The alternative space provides a venue for taking risks.
Eligibility: Artists and Curators. Emerging and underrepresented artists are strongly encouraged to apply. We also invite established artists who are looking to depart from previous bodies of work and start on a new path.
What you get: Selected participants will all have a show in one of two gallery spaces. PAGUS will host an Opening or Closing Reception for the artist(s) and curator(s) depending on the best option for scheduling. The option of selling works is available to the artists with a 20% commission to the gallery.
Please send proposals in the body of an email and include images as attachments or links to your website.
Digital Images should be scaled to 8 x 10″ @ 100 dpi
