    Projection period: April 13, 2025 – October 13, 2025

    Eligibility:

    • Original, unpublished works only.
    • Works must not have been exhibited in other public or private exhibitions.
    • Each individual or team may submit one entry.
    • Minors must have parental or guardian consent.

    How to apply:

    1. Submit a brief application including:
    • Creator/team name
    • Contact information (email, address, phone)
    • Country of origin
    • Website URL (if applicable)

    2. Upload completed video files to a shared file server for review.

    Submission requirements:

    1. Resolution Options:
    • 5160×1080 pixels
    • 3840×800 pixels
    1. Length: 30 seconds to 1 minute
    2. Frame Rate: 30 fps
    3. Format: MP4 (H.264, CBR 50–60 Mbps) or MOV (Apple ProRes422)
    4. Audio:
    • Audio should be embedded in the video file or provided separately as a WAV file.
    • Ensure the audio length matches the video duration.
    1. Work title (displayed at the beginning for up to 5 seconds).
    2. Concept explanation (100 words).
    3. One still image (3840×800 pixels).
    4. Profile of the creator/team (100 words).
    5. Contact Information:
    • Name of the representative
    • Email address
    • Mailing address
    • Telephone number
    1. Country of Origin: Mention the country where the creator/team is based.
    2. File Sharing Link: Provide a link (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox) for downloading your video file.
    3. File Naming Convention:
    • Use this structure:
      EntryNumber_TeamName_Date.mov
      Example: 0001_TeamXYZ_20250302.mov
    • Use only half-width alphabets and numbers. Avoid spaces or special symbols.

    Prohibited Submissions:

    The following will not be accepted:

    • Works that do not adhere to the format or specifications outlined.
    • Videos with corrupted data or playback errors.
    • Content that is offensive, sexually explicit, politically charged, or overtly religious.
    • Works exceeding the time limit of 1 minute or shorter than 30 seconds.
    • Submissions that infringe on third-party copyrights or intellectual property.

    Copyright and Usage:

    • Creators retain copyright of their works but grant the Expo organizers and the Projection Mapping Association of Japan permission to:
    1. Adjust brightness, contrast, and other elements to optimize screening.
    2. Use the work for promotional, archival, and event-related purposes indefinitely.
    3. Share the works at related events or exhibitions after Expo 2025.
    • Submitted works must not be published or shared on social media or other platforms before the official announcement of results.

    Important Notes:

    • All production and submission costs are the applicant’s responsibility.
    • Once submitted, no modifications or cancellations will be accepted.
    • Submissions may be disqualified if they fail to meet technical requirements, are incomplete, or are found to violate the rules.
