Welcome to Artinfoland

Artinfoland is a platform built specifically for artists, curators, and writers who want to discover and apply to open calls, grants, residencies, and prizes. This guide walks you through everything you need to know to get the most out of your membership.

1. Getting Started

To begin, create your account at artinfoland.com. You can sign up with your email address in a few steps. Once your account is active, you will be prompted to choose a membership plan before you can access the full platform.

Artinfoland does not offer a free tier. All features are available through a paid membership, and you can choose between a monthly or yearly plan depending on what works best for you.

2. Choosing Your Plan

Artinfoland currently offers two membership plans:

Yearly Basic

This plan is billed once a year and works out to $3.25 per month, saving you 35% compared to the monthly rate. It includes full access to all opportunities on the platform, smart search and filters, the ability to bookmark your favorite listings, the application planner, a public artist profile, weekly email updates, exclusive member offers, and tax-inclusive and refundable billing.

Monthly Basic

This plan is billed month to month and gives you the same full access as the yearly plan, with the flexibility to cancel at any time. It includes everything in the yearly plan, plus smart search to filter opportunities by country, discipline, deadline, and more.

If you plan to use Artinfoland as an ongoing resource throughout the year, the yearly plan is the most cost-effective choice. You can review both plans and subscribe at artinfoland.com/plans.

3. Finding Opportunities

Once you are logged in, you will land on the opportunities page, which currently lists more than 528 verified open calls, grants, residencies, and prizes from around the world. The database is reviewed and updated every day so you are always seeing current information.

Using the Filters

You can narrow down the listings using the smart search filters. Filter by country to find opportunities in a specific location, by discipline to focus on your medium or practice, or by deadline to prioritize what is coming up soonest. You can combine filters to get a precise result set.

On the homepage, you’ll find a Search Table in the ” Opportunities ” section. Use the available filters to refine your search and find the most relevant competitions. The filters include:

Name: Search by the competition’s title.

Eligibility: Filter opportunities based on eligibility criteria.

Category: Select the type of competition that interests you.

Location: Choose a specific country for participation.

Type: Narrow down results by competition type.

Organization: Browse competitions by the hosting organization (currently being updated).

Also by clicking on each categories you can have accesses to other competition of same categories.

Reading an Opportunity

Each listing has its own detail page with everything you need to evaluate whether it is right for you: a description of the opportunity, the host organization, eligibility information, the application deadline, any fees or stipends involved, and a direct link to apply. Artinfoland verifies each listing before it goes live, so you can trust that the information is accurate.

4. Your Profile and Tools

Your Artinfoland account comes with a set of tools designed to help you stay organized and manage your applications.

Bookmarks

When you find an opportunity you want to come back to, click the bookmark icon to save it. All your bookmarked listings are stored in one place so you can review and compare them at any time.

Application Planner

The application planner helps you track where you are in the process for each opportunity you are pursuing. You can log the status of each application, set reminders, and stay on top of multiple deadlines at once without losing track.

Public Artist Profile

Every member gets a public artist profile on Artinfoland. You can use it to write an artist statement, upload your CV, and add links to your portfolio or website. Your profile has its own shareable URL, which means you can include it in application materials as a direct link to your professional presence.
