The German Architecture Museum (DAM) invites innovative curators to join its team for Stadt-Up Frankfurt—a role designed to challenge conventional ideas and expand the cultural horizons of Frankfurt. The position supports DAM’s mission to communicate the challenges of architecture, urban development, and regional planning through dynamic exhibitions and public programs.
Position Type: Curator (f/m/d), available on a full-time or part-time basis
Theme & Focus:
Develop and implement independent exhibitions on architecture and urban planning.
Engage in public programming, scholarly research, and strategic planning that address the evolving challenges in architecture, urban development, and regional planning.

Responsibilities Include:
Conceiving and realizing exhibitions on architecture and urban planning.
Organizing international follow-up stations for exhibitions.
Developing exhibition publications, marketing materials, and public events.
Acquiring donations, sponsorships, and submitting funding applications.
Creating didactic formats and lecture series in collaboration with museum education.
Conducting research on current construction activities and evaluating exhibition content.
Supporting overall strategic and operational development at DAM.
Eligibility
Open to all qualified applicants with a completed academic degree in art history, art sciences, or architecture.
Must have proven professional experience in exhibition management and museum work.
Special consideration is given to women and individuals from underrepresented groups in the arts, as well as severely disabled applicants when equally qualified.
