The internship provides knowledge in all areas of museum work, such as collecting, preservation, research, exhibiting, museum management, administration, and communication. Professional development is offered in the field of art education. This focus includes, among other things:
– Participation in the conception and organizational implementation of the art education program for children, young people, adults, families, and schools
– Participation in the development of new formats and collaborations with institutional partners and artists
– Confident writing of texts for different audiences
– Organizational support for tours, workshops, and special events (such as family days)
– Participation in the maintenance of the hack-museumsgARTen

Eligibility:
If you…
– have completed a Master’s degree in art history, art education or a comparable subject
– have experience in museum and media education (especially in the form of projects with young people and intercultural projects)
– have convincing organizational and communication skills, team spirit and creativity
– and are fluent in spoken and written German and English.
