Short Description:
The Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History in Rome, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Tanja Michalsky, invites applications for the Ursula Nilgen Predoctoral Fellowships, funded by the Ursula Nilgen-Hertziana Foundation.
These short-term fellowships support dissertation projects on medieval Italian art (up to approx. 1250) through a 6-month research residency at the Bibliotheca Hertziana in Rome.
Fellowship Details:
- Duration: 6 months
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Research presentation during the stay is expected
- Fellows are encouraged to take part in the institute’s events and publishing opportunities
