Short Description
The Mini Print Internacional Cantabria is an annual international printmaking competition and exhibition held in Santander, Spain. Established in 2018, it was initially conceived as a biennial event but transitioned to an annual format due to its immediate success and growing participation.
Our passion for graphics, and especially for the format, our desire to make contemporary artists from all over the world converge in an exhibition in our land and that our people have the possibility to enjoy it have made us develop it and work to incorporate Cantabria into the international Mini Print circuit.
Eligibility
- The award is open to all disciplines of engraving, and printed digital work and monotype are also admitted.
- The general theme is The Sea and the Lighthouses, but this does not imply that the work must be figurative, admitting all kinds of aesthetic language.
- The image and paper should not exceed 20 x 20 cm.
- There is no minimum image or paper size.
- The artwork(s) must be without a mat, frame, glass or stretcher.

- 1st Prize: € 4000
- 2nd Prize: € 1500
- 3rd Prize: € 500
- Cantabrian Sea Award: € 500.- This prize will be awarded to a work made by an artist from Cantabria. Only an artist born and/or resident in the current territory of Cantabria will be recognised as such.
- The winning works will become part of the Art Fund of the Port Authority of Santander, being deposited for conservation and exhibition at the Faro Cabo Mayor Art Center.
- The prizes will be transferred to the artists to a bank account that they indicate in due course.

Non-residents in Spain:
- € 65 Return, by certified mail, included, or
- € 45 No Return (Donation or Destruction)
