Course

The course program is tailored exactly to the concerns of the participants. We accept 15 female artists into our professionalization program every year. The starting point is the artistic practice of the participants. The course combines action-oriented offers with a wide range of insights into the art world and continuous training in presentation and mediation techniques. This includes courses on the production of one’s own website, job interviews, studio and work discussions as well as the teaching of basic knowledge about self-employment, public relations and project planning, the production of a catalogue and a joint exhibition.
The seminars are led by experienced art and cultural scientists. In addition to the project staff, curators, gallery owners and other experts will be guests who will advance the professional cause together with the artists and on an equal footing. In the professionalisation course, practical specialist knowledge that can be used for successful career development is exchanged and further developed. It is just as important to know the art scene, its actors and their practices well, as well as to understand how networks work. With its more than 525 graduates and a constantly growing alumni network, the Goldrausch Artists’ Project offers a strong basis for this.
