Short Description
Thelma Hulbert Gallery is looking for South West designer makers who produce high-quality work (either one–offs or small-scale production) to feature in our festive selling exhibition of contemporary craft and design.
Present Makers 2025 (8 November – 24 December) features hand-crafted gift ideas showcasing the talent and innovation of contemporary craftspeople and design makers in the South West.
Thelma Hulbert Gallery (THG) hosts an award-winning exhibition programme of contemporary art & craft, alongside a permanent collection of artist Thelma Hulbert’s work.
Eligibility
- We encourage applications from both established makers and emerging artists, from woodworkers to jewellery artists, ceramicists to glassmakers, textile artists to embroidery artists.
- THG will provide a carefully curated space to showcase their creative process. We hope to achieve a wider appreciation of craftsmanship and to promote and support our local creative communities.
Entries will highlight the quality, variety, and inspiration of local designer makers working across a range of materials: glass, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, prints, and wood, as well as unique Christmas cards and decorations.
