Short Description
Pinkwater Gallery -@- Kingston Social in Kingston NY invites artists to reinterpret the most ordinary, everyday objects in fresh, creative ways. This exhibition explores how the items that surround us – often overlooked, taken for granted, or dismissed as mundane – can become sources of inspiration, wonder, and reflection when seen through an artistic lens.
Think of the intimacy of the mundane: the objects you touch daily that quietly shape your routines. Think of the poetry of the useful: tools and utensils that carry both function and hidden symbolism. Think of the beauty in what we overlook: a chair, a teacup, a pair of worn shoes, or the shadow of a lamp, transformed into subjects of meaning and imagination.
