Short Description
Art Busan, established in 2012, is Korea’s premier international contemporary art fair. The 15th edition in 2026 will showcase over 160 galleries from Korea, Asia, and around the world, presenting a diverse array of contemporary artworks, including painting, sculpture, photography, and installations. The fair serves as a dynamic platform for galleries, artists, and collectors to connect, promoting artistic exchange, cultural dialogue, and market development in both the Asian and global art scenes.
Eligibility
Art Busan offers several ways for galleries to participate:
- The GALLERIES section is for established local and international galleries presenting recognized artists across various media.
- The FUTURE section welcomes young galleries (under five years old) that highlight emerging or experimental artists.
- CONNECT is a curated space for single-artist or installation projects.
- TERRITORY is a themed section that brings together galleries and artists from different regions under a curatorial concept.
Participation is competitive and juried. Applications are reviewed by Art Busan’s Selection Committee, which evaluates each gallery’s artistic quality, curatorial vision, exhibition history, and the originality of the proposed presentation. Only selected galleries receive an invitation to exhibit at the fair.

- Booth sizes are fixed options:
• GALLERIES: 40, 50, 60, 80, 120 sqm
• FUTURE: 20 sqm (solo) or 30 sqm (duo) booths.
