Fest Anča International Animation Festival, the only Slovak multimedia festival focused on animated film and digital games has just opened its 2023 call for entries.
Fest Anča’s purpose is to show contemporary, progressive animated films and commemorate the best of the genre’s history.
Only short animated films and music videos, completed after 1 January 2021 and submitted with English subtitles, are accepted into the Festival’s competition program.
At Fest Anča 2023 there are following categories:

➜ Best Student Animated Short
➜ Best Animated Music Video
➜ Best Animated Short for Children
➜ Best Slovak Animated Short
The 16th Fest Anča will take place in Žilina, Slovakia, 29th June—2nd July, 2023.
Eligibility
This competition is open to everyone worldwide. There are also the children’s and students category.

➜ Best Animated Short (€1000)
➜ Best Student Animated Short (€500)
➜ Best Animated Music Video (€500)
➜ Best Animated Short for Children (€500)
➜ Best Slovak Animated Short (€1000)
Entry fees
You can submit for free until until 31 December 2022. Submissions registered during the period between 1 January and 31 January, 2023 (Late Deadline) is a subject to a registration fee of 5 EUR per film.
