We have recently transitioned out of a brick-and-mortar gallery into a primarily online art gallery and event organizer. Our first call is the Finest Art Showcase San Diego. The featured event is on June 29th, which will be hosted in San Diego, showcasing the artwork we select in an exclusive venue, with live music and complimentary drinks and food. Our target guests audience will be art collectors and socialites.
About Call: Art Scene West welcomes artists of all backgrounds and stages of their careers to submit their original work to our juried art exhibition. Select artworks will be displayed for sale on our gallery website as well as showcased at our exclusive live event hosted in San Diego, California. Awards (9 total) will be presented at the live event on June 29th. Artists keep 70% of their work sold during the exhibition (June 1st-August 31st.) Select artists will also have their own artist page on our website during the exhibition. Art Scene West is searching for new Gallery Artists to represent full time through this art call.
Eligibility: This is an international open call for artworks of all styles and various sizes. Acceptable artworks include 2D (two-dimensional) and 3D (three-dimensional) artwork. 2D artworks will be displayed on an easel at the live event and must not exceed 4ft x 6ft in size. 3D artworks must include their own base and may not exceed 50 pounds or 3ft width by 3ft height. All artworks must be an original creation of the participating artist and must be available for sale and ready to ship. 2D artworks must be equipped with an appropriate hanging mechanism. A single artwork may not exceed three parts (separate canvases/pieces.)

Fees: 35$ submission fee. 75$ participation fee.
Awards: (recognition only with certificates and prominent display at event.)
Juries Selection: 1st (Best in Show), 2nd, and 3rd place and 3 “honorable mentions.”
Curator’s selection: “Stand Out”, “Rising Star”, “Artist Spotlight”.
About ASW Gallery: Launched in late February of 2020, Art Scene West started as a contemporary art gallery that represented established and emerging artists from the west coast and western parts of the United States. The gallery began in the virtual sphere and grew by partnering with artsy.net and opening a physical gallery on South Cedros in Solana Beach, Ca, which it held until the end of 2022. Art Scene West begins 2024 with a new focus on discovering artists through world-wide art competitions that it will host year around. Our philosophy embraces the ever-changing landscape of art and the art market in response to our changing times. As Art Scene West continues to broaden its scope and horizons, the artwork we represent will continue to be vibrant and diverse.
