Assembly Point exhibition

Assembly Point is a location designated for a group to meet or gather in the time needed. Ongoing Conversation encourages artists from all around the world to submit their artwork for review.  There is no theme designated for this group art exhibition, we decided to create this assembly point so artists from any background join us to share their artworks without any hesitations. Because this project aims to give a comprehensive, global perspective, we want to represent as many artists from as many backgrounds as possible. Therefore, we hope to accept any submission that meets our quality standards.

Two dimensional artwork (textiles, photography, drawing, painting, and printmaking), three dimensional artwork (ceramics and sculpture) from the past two years will be considered (i.e. art works made during the pandemic). The underlying theme of this show is the unity in the uniqueness of individual experiences.

Art works submissions:

While art is inherently controversial, Ongoing Conversation’s mission is to reach a large, diverse audience, and therefore we must set a quality standard that speaks to as many people as possible. This means that works with overtly sexual or politically charged images or messages cannot be accepted for this show. We want to bridge the divide between issues of race, class, gender, and politics; so the art presented in this show must be inclusive rather than divisive.

All work must be the original work of the artist and completed in the past two years. We reserve the right to decline any work that is substantially different from the submitted images, doesn’t meet size limitations, or is not professionally presented.

We reserve the right to remove any piece of work for reasons the organization or venue deems necessary.
