Three different residency dates are available for individual artists and/or small artistic teams of all disciplines (literary, performing and visual arts) who wish to create work in the natural environment and in community with other artists. Artists over 18 years of age from any geographic location are invited to apply. Lodging for these residencies is provided at no cost to the artist.
Our goal is to balance introducing as many new artists as possible to TLC while remaining an artistic home for our alumni. If you were awarded a residency in 2023, please know that priority will be given to new applicants and artists who did not attend the previous year.
The dates are:
July 1st-13th
July 15th-21st
September 11th-17th
Applications open January 1st, 2024 and close February 5th at 5:00pm CST
Notification deadline: May 1st, 2024
Please note that artists should choose one residency program to apply for in any given season.
