We are pleased to announce the Open Call for our LKV International Residency Program for 2025 and 2026. Each program – interdisciplinary and crafts & visual arts – has a unique application form. LKV AiR hosts four artists simultaneously, with two apartments allocated for each program and a studio for the crafts & visual arts.

AiR: Interdisciplinary
This AiR program focuses on interdisciplinary projects within dance, music, performing arts, film, literature (working with non-fiction literature projects) and curators. We are open for applications from professional artists that already work with interdisciplinary projects or would like to challenge their own practice.

AiR: Crafts & visual arts
Our International Residency Program is open to professional craft & visual artists who do not reside in Trondheim.

Applications will be accepted from:

  • professional artists/collectives older than 18 years old.
  • professional artists not living in Trondheim. If a duo/collective, the majority must not live in Trondheim.
  • being fluent in English and/or in one of the Scandinavian languages.
  • not be enrolled in a student program

LKV grants the artist a studio apartment during his/her/their residency period free of charge and eventual access to other facilities:

  1. A full equipped studio apartment during your residency period. The apartment is located in the former gymnasium building just across the courtyard from the main building. This contains: 120 cm wide bed, bed linen and towels, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room and storage room if needed. Possibility to have guests (NOK 50,- p/ night), free for children under 11 years old.
  2. Possibility to rent project rooms (50 and 90 sqm) for an additional cost.
