Pac Art Residency

Pac Art artist-in-residence program welcomes local, national, and international artists from multicultural backgrounds, ages and disciplines. We provide studio spaces, facilities and access to curators, collectors and other art professionals that allow participants to create and develop research and production projects in the region. At the same time, we are open to diverse and inclusive voices  and expressions that expand and enrich our local arts ecosystem.

Residencies are independent, immersive and process-based. We encourage professional experimentation and personal collaborations among our residents, with a public program that includes presentations as well as open studio sessions at the end of each residencies program.

There are two open calls per year, during the spring and fall for the consecutive terms, which are announced on social media and webpage. Open call times will last for 30 days and results will be announced from two to three weeks after submission deadline.

Applications are welcome from all artists, irrespective of background, age, nationality or career, as long as they reside at the Houston Metropolitan Area. Collectives all welcome to apply with as many as 3 artists.

1) A 500-word proposal for a production project.
