To cultivate a pipeline of talented artists, MetaU Art launched its International Art Competition in September 2023. This competition aims to discover young and talented artists based around the world, providing them with opportunities for international exposure.
Discover, Recognize and Support to the young artists are the mission of MetaU Art Competition.
Winners of the competition will have the opportunity to showcase theirs artworks at major international art fairs in Los Angeles, New York , San Francisco etc.

1: First Place
- Opportunity to exhibit at major international art fairs, including but not limited to those in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
- An opportunity to have your works presented at online exhibitions at Artsy, the world’s largest online art marketplace.

2: Second place

Note: The difference between 1st and 2nd place is the number of art fairs attended and the number of artworks exhibited. The 1st place winner will have more opportunity to exhibit and more media coverage.
Entry and Eligibility
- The MetaU Art International Competition is open to artists of all nationalities, from all regions, aged 35 and below.
- Your work must be in the realm of contemporary arts.
- Works in a wide range of media are accepted, inclusive of but not limited to the following: drawings, paintings, digital artworks, photography, ceramics, sculpture, textiles and fabrics etc. AI produced artworks and NFTs are not considered at this time.
- You can submit up to 3 artworks with 3 images for each artwork ( one artwork image, one/two detail image, one installation view if available). Submissions must be digital in format as works will be viewed and judged digitally.
- Artworks submitted for the competition are made no more than 3 years ago.
Entry Fees
- $25 per application (with maximum 3 artworks submitted).
- Payment method: PayPal / Credit and Debit Card accepted.
- Payments will be collected at the end of the application form.
Jury Committee
Jury committee will comprise gallery owners, art historians, renowned artists and art collectors. The jury committee member will be announced in November 2023.
