The Ideal Urban Futures Competition is an art competition that seeks to allow young artists to share their perspectives on what an ideal urban future would look like for them after successfully addressing climate change and its effects.

What does an ‘IDEAL URBAN FUTURE’ look like to you?
(One in which the causes and effects of climate change have been successfully addressed).
1. This competition is open to young people of any nationality between the ages of 13 and 35 and the deadline for applications is 31 January 2024.
2. Cash prizes for top 3 entries are £500 , £300 and £200 respectively.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.Entries are restricted to one person per entry.
2.Total entries will be shortlisted by the Art of Health team in agreement with Children, Cities and Climate.
3.The competition will have a winner, first runner up and second runner. These winners will be established by a voting process by a panel of judges selected by Children, Cities and Climate.
4.The competition winner decision is final.
5.No correspondence about the competition judgement will be entered into with anyone other than the winners.
6.Children, Cities and Climate will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your entry in the competition or from your enjoyment from any prize you may win.
7.Children, Cities and Climate reserves the right at any time to cancel, change or replace the competition, including alteration of the prizes, if in its discretion, it considers that the competition cannot be conducted as is set out in these terms and conditions or for any reason beyond its control.

9.By submitting a competition entry, participants of the competition give Children, Cities and Climate and its partners permission to use, free of charge, any received art, photos, videos or contributions linked to the competition, to be used in promotional activities relating to the competition and in relation to the announcement of the winner through all media including radio, television and the internet.
10.At the request of Children, Cities and Climate, the competition participants have the option to cooperate in promotional activities of the Ideal Urban Futures Competition, including publicity regarding the announcements of the winners across all media (radio, television, internet).
