Neowise Studio is an established production studio based in Rome, Italy, operating across photography, film, and creative production. Expanding upon its foundation, the team launched Neowisevent, an independent cultural organization dedicated to developing exhibitions, open calls, and curatorial projects within the field of contemporary visual arts. Through its flagship exhibition initiative, A VISTA, Neowisevent aims to generate meaningful public display opportunities while cultivating active connections between artists, curators, audiences, and Rome's broader cultural ecosystem.

A VISTA: Open Call for Contemporary Photography
Neowisevent has officially launched the premiere edition of A VISTA, an exhibition program designed to support contemporary visual practices, with this call dedicated entirely to contemporary photography. The open call welcomes creators who engage with photography as a poetic medium and a tool for deep artistic research. Operating without a prescribed theme, the initiative encourages a wide spectrum of visual approaches, techniques, and conceptual perspectives. A total of twelve selected artists will be chosen to present their work across three curated group exhibitions held in Rome, Italy, between September and November 2026.

The call is dedicated to Contemporary Photography and Lens-Based Media, embracing experimental, fine art, documentary, conceptual, and research-driven photographic practices.
Eligibility
- Geographic Scope: Open unconditionally to artists, photographers, authors, and students worldwide, regardless of nationality.
- Age & Experience: Open to creators of all ages. No formal educational qualifications or prior gallery exhibition history are required.
- Medium Scope: Open to anyone utilizing photography as a medium for artistic research and creative expression.
Program Benefits & Awards
- Exhibition Placement: Twelve chosen artists will be selected to exhibit their work in one of three curated group exhibitions in Rome.
- Curatorial & Institutional Support: Curatorial selection and production design managed by the Neowisevent team.
- Networking & Promotion: Direct exposure to local audiences, curators, and cultural professionals within the Rome art scene, backed by digital and institutional promotion.
Application Fee
- Submission Cost: Free to apply. There is no fee to submit an application portfolio.
- Participation Fee (Selected Artists Only): Artists who are officially selected for the exhibition program pay a participation fee of €100 + VAT, which directly supports the organizational, administrative, and production costs of the physical exhibition cycle in Rome.
