ACCI Gallery is the oldest artist cooperative on the U.S. West Coast, located in North Berkeley’s renowned Gourmet District. The gallery represents approximately 120 artists across multiple disciplines, including ceramics, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, textiles, sculpture, and wood. ACCI is known for its strong community of craft and fine artists and its commitment to showcasing innovative contemporary work.

Art in the Fold
This exhibition explores the concept and function of folding as both a natural phenomenon and a transformative artistic process. From insect wings to geological strata, folding shapes the world around us—and artists reinterpret this act through paper, metal, fabric, clay, and more.
The exhibition welcomes works in which folding plays a significant structural or conceptual role. Both 2D and 3D artworks are eligible, including pieces shaped by folding as well as work representing folded forms. The aim is to highlight the diversity, complexity, and aesthetic range of folded and fold-inspired art.

Eligibility
Open nationally to artists of all backgrounds and ages.
Eligible works include:
- Folded materials (paper, cloth, metal, etc.)
- Work shaped by foldforming or structural folding
- Art representing folds conceptually or visually
All folded artwork or fold-related concepts are welcome.
Program Benefits & Awards
Selected artists will receive:
- Exhibition in a respected, long-standing gallery
- Opening reception attended by the community
- Display in a brick-and-mortar venue with strong local engagement

Additional Details
- Both 2D and 3D works accepted
