Organizer Information
Goyki 3 Art Inkubator is a local government cultural institution in Sopot, Poland, established in 2019. The institution supports cultural creation and education, creative communities, artistic research, and cultural events, while also developing networks between Polish and international cultural stakeholders. Its activities include organizing art residencies and creative work programs and promoting the cultural and historical heritage of Sopot.

AiR Goyki 3 Residency 2027
AiR Goyki 3 – Residency Program 2027 is a two-month residency program supporting artists working primarily in visual arts and literature. The program is designed around the creative process, artistic research, dialogue, and critical reflection on contemporary society. Goyki 3 does not prescribe a specific theme or require a predetermined final result.
Applicants are encouraged to propose thoughtful, research-oriented projects connected to Sopot, the Art Inkubator, or relationships between people and their surroundings. The program also aims to encourage networking between artists from different disciplines and the development of multidisciplinary collaborations.
Artistic duos may apply under the same residency conditions as individual applicants.

Eligibility
The open call is international, as the residency accepts applicants communicating in either English or Polish and is designed to support both domestic and foreign creative communities.
Applicants must:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Work primarily in visual arts or literature for the 2027 program.
- Have a communicative level of English or Polish.
- Be prepared to stay in Sopot for the full two-month residency and actively engage in artistic activities.
- Artistic duos are eligible to apply.
Jury members, Goyki 3 Art Inkubator staff, and its partners are excluded from applying.
Program Benefits & Awards
- Two-month residency in Sopot.

- Accommodation in Sopot for two residents during the April–June residency.
- For the September–November residency, residency costs of up to PLN 10,000 gross per resident for two residents.
- A PLN 2,000 gross project implementation budget for each of the four residents.
- Opportunities to present artistic work through at least one open meeting during the residency.
Travel and insurance expenses are not covered by the organizer.

Additional Details
Residents must sign a residency agreement and organize at least one open meeting related to their artistic practice or work created during the residency. The date will be arranged with the AiR Goyki 3 team.
Applications can be submitted in English or Polish. The jury evaluates proposals based, among other factors, on the feasibility of completing the project during the residency, artistic and substantive quality, and suitability to the venue.
The organizer does not plan to provide individual consultations about applications, and jury decisions cannot be appealed. Applicants should also note that submitted materials may be used for jury evaluation, while the organizer may photograph or record public residency activities for its communications.
