Allora Gallery has launched an open call for its upcoming virtual group exhibition, "Serenity." Seeking images that capture quiet registers, stillness, and calm in a fast-paced world, the exhibition explores themes of quiet geometry, soft evening light, misty mornings, empty landscapes, minimalist compositions, and reflective moments. Open across all photographic genres—including landscapes, seascapes, street scenes, portraits, and abstract work—the selection centers on whether an image evokes a genuine sense of peace and stillness.

Categories

The call accepts All Photographic Genres & Styles (Landscapes, Seascapes, Street, Portraiture, Abstract, Minimalist, Environmental, and Fine Art) that align with the concept of serenity.

Eligibility

  • Geographic & Experience Scope: Open unconditionally to photographers of all skill levels, career stages, and backgrounds worldwide.
  • Submission Limit: Photographers may submit up to 5 images.

Fee Structure

  • Submission Fee: 100% Free to apply ($0 submission fee).
  • Participation Fee (Only if selected):£15 GBP(approx. €17 EUR / $20 USD) due upon acceptance into the exhibition.

How to Apply

Your email package must contain:

  1. Artwork Files: Up to 5 JPEG images (minimum 2,000 px on the longest side, maximum 4 MB per image).
  2. File Naming Convention:Firstname Surname - Title(e.g., Anna Jones - Morning Mist).
  3. Personal & Contact Info: Full name, country of residence, and links to your website or Instagram.
  4. Written Dossier:
    • Short Biography (maximum 100 words).
    • Artist Statement (maximum 100 words).
