Art Scene West is a contemporary art gallery located in the Seaport Village of San Diego, California, a popular retail center featuring boutique shops and restaurants. We feature artwork from local, national, and international artists through our Calls for Art, where we offer creators the opportunity to showcase their art inside our prestigious gallery for over 50 days in a themed exhibition.

Natures Narrative
Our newest Call for Art is a tribute to the natural and diverse wonders of the world we all inhabit. This exhibition aims to celebrate the unique and beautiful styles in which nature is portrayed through visual art. Natures Narrative provides artists of all stages in their career the opportunity for Gallery Exposure in one of San Diego’s top tourist destinations.
Category:
We are seeking all mediums and styles in 2D and 3D forms for this exhibition. Artwork must be of, or about, nature, in general. This does not limit the subject of the artworks to only landscapes, plantlife, wildlife, etc., but can also include abstractions, symbolism, activism, and other styles that relate their meaning to nature.
Eligibility:
This is an international art call for artists 18 years or older.
Location:
The exhibition will take place in the Art Scene West gallery, located in San Diego California, at 803 W Harbor Dr, San Diego CA 92101. We will also publish this exhibition online at our website www.artscenewest.com, indefinitely, as well as on our instagram page.
Key Dates:
- Submission Deadline: January 9th, 2026
- Notification of Acceptance: between January 10th - 12th.
- Artwork Deliver: no later than January 30th (18 days from notification.)
- Opening Reception: February 7th, 2026 at Art Scene West Gallery (subject to change.)
Application Fee:
- The application fee is $25.
- If selected to participate and exhibit your artwork, a participation fee of $100 is required for the 56 day exhibition.
Awards & Benefits:
Participating Artists will gain Gallery Exposure in a professionally curated exhibition, to promote, market, and sell their artwork to the public. We will also feature the exhibition on our website indefinitely, as well as on our Social Media handles.
