Short Description
ASN is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Curator with a Ph.D. and experience in art and science, and with strong IT skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Curatorial education (with a PhD is an advantage),
- Curatorial experience of at least two years in art/science synergy,
- Talent for organizing, presenting, and communicating messages effectively through design,
- Excellent project management and organizational skills,
- Knowledge of fundraising for cultural projects,
- Good teamwork skills, particularly with artists and scientists,
- Excellent research and IT skills,
The Role Overview
- Discipline: Graphic Arts and Communication Design
- Salary: €2,000 / month
- Contract: Freelance
- Languages: Excellent English and German (French or Polish appreciated)
Position & Tasks
- Assisting the Board of Management and the Curator
- Fund-raising research & applications for ASN projects
- Developing and implementing PR & communication
strategies, - Organizing and managing projects (events, exhibitions, workshops, discussions, etc.)
- Developing ASN ambitions, objectives, and needs
- Supporting and assisting ASN and the project’s stakeholders (especially volunteers, artists, and scientists)
- Developing and sustaining communication and PR strategies defined by ASN management
- Writing communications (press releases, etc.)
- Maintaining and committing to media, institutions, and companies
Who Can Apply?
- Higher university education or equivalent (with PhD is mandatory)
- Communication skills
- Deep commitment to ASN ambitions and objectives
- Strong motivation for connecting the worlds of art and science
- Long and well-recognized experience in Art & Science is an advantage
- Excellent English (native speaker is an advantage) and Polish, German appreciated
