Title & Description

2026 Artadia Awards – Houston

The 2026 Artadia Awards – Houston is an open-call funding opportunity for contemporary visual artists who live and work in Harris County, Texas. The program recognizes artistic excellence and supports artists at different stages of their careers through unrestricted financial awards.

Applicants may submit completed artworks demonstrating their artistic practice, creative vision, and professional development. The awards are not project-based grants; artists are not required to propose a new project or allocate the funding toward a particular artwork. Instead, recipients may use the award funds at their discretion.

Applications undergo a two-tier jury review. An initial panel selects six finalists, who subsequently participate in virtual studio visits with a second jury. Three artists will ultimately receive awards. Artadia encourages applicants to demonstrate a clear artistic voice, a rigorous practice, and a high level of artistic achievement.
