Short Description
The Federal Cultural Foundation and the Thuringian State Chancellery have made it possible to set up the residency and launch the programme with start-up funding. The Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Thuringia has been supporting the programme since 2018.
During their one-month working stay, the artists receive free accommodation, a 1000€ scholarship and a free studio in the house. Networking with regional artists is supported. At the end, a finissage is organized together. In consultation with the Lauscha Glass Museum, exhibitions are also possible there in principle.
Eligibility
- Glass artists or artists from other disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, graphics, video, sound, photography, interdisciplinary, etc. There are no limits as far as art movements are concerned. We are looking forward to a diversity of applicants.
- Due to Lauscha’s history with its strong anchoring in glass, we expressly welcome the application of glass artists of any kind! Philosophy and roots
- Applicants who have not submitted a project cannot be considered.
