Through programs like the Atlas Artist Residency, ART 180 provides young artists with the skills, confidence, and portfolio-building opportunities to pursue careers in the arts.

Title & Description:

Residency Teaching Artist Assistant (RTAA) – Emerging Teaching Artist & Alumni Leadership. This position is a hands-on apprenticeship designed for ART 180 alumni who have graduated high school and previously participated in Atlas Teen Programs. The RTAA works closely with the Lead Residency Teaching Artist (RTA) and ART 180 staff to support youth instruction, facilitate creative engagement, and assist with operational and studio tasks. This role builds the assistant’s teaching and professional portfolio while providing real-world experience in arts education, studio management, and mentorship.

Eligibility:

  • ART 180 alumni who have graduated high school
