Bazament Art Space Open Call: Curator in Residence 2026

Bazament is officially accepting applications for its 2026 Curator in Residence program, inviting regional and international curatorial voices to complete a focused two-week research block in Tirana. The residency is designed as a deep dive into Albania's expanding contemporary art scene, giving the resident structured space to interface with local artists, visit independent studios, and build organic dialogues with regional cultural practitioners. Following this immersive on-site research window, the selected curator will build out a cohesive concept to curate an exhibition. This finalized project will debut prominently at Bazament as an official feature during the high-traffic Tirana Art Weekend in November 2026.
