Located at Erbacher Straße 9 in Wiesbaden, Germany, Neue Bäckerei is an independent, non-profit exhibition space dedicated to contemporary visual art and cross-disciplinary cultural exchange. Curated by Fee-Gloria Grönemeyer and partially funded by the Wiesbaden Kulturamt, the space presents thematic group exhibitions that engage both local audiences and international creative networks.

BUBBLE — Open Call for International Artists: Neue Bäckerei Wiesbaden
Neue Bäckerei has launched its international open call for its second physical exhibition, centered around the theme "BUBBLE". Inviting artistic explorations from personal, political, social, digital, or conceptual perspectives, the exhibition investigates how bubbles function as safe spaces of protection or restrictive boundaries. The open call accepts both existing and newly created works across all artistic media. Selected creators receive an artist participation fee, partial transport support, gallery insurance coverage, and social media presentation.

The call accepts All Visual Art Forms & Disciplines (Painting, Sculpture, Installation, Photography, Digital Art, Printmaking, and Mixed Media).
Eligibility
- Geographic Scope: Open unconditionally to visual artists residing anywhere in the world.
- Artwork Status: Existing or newly produced works are eligible, provided they connect to the theme and are physically available for the full exhibition window.
- Exclusivity: Previously exhibited works remain eligible.
Program Benefits & Support
- Artist Participation Fee: €300 EUR paid to each selected artist upon delivery/dispatch of the artwork.
- Shipping Support: Up to €100 EUR partial reimbursement for artwork shipping costs.
- Services & Logistics: Gallery installation/deinstallation by the team (remote coordination available), complete artwork insurance coverage during the exhibition run, and dedicated artist features across Neue Bäckerei's website and Instagram channel.
