CAMPUS PCS Technical Residencies
Short Description
CAMPUS Paulo Cunha e Silva (CAMPUS PCS) in Porto, Portugal, invites applications for its Technical Residencies Program for the 2025-2026 season. This initiative supports professional artists, collectives, and companies engaged in contemporary dance, theatre, circus, animated forms, and interdisciplinary projects at the research, creation, or technical experimentation stage. Selected projects will receive short-term residencies at Teatro Campo Alegre’s Sala Estúdio, including rehearsal space, financial aid (€550 per week), and accommodation for up to 4 people
Residency Duration: 1-2 weeks
Residency Periods & Location:
September 15 – 26, 2025 (Teatro Campo Alegre, Porto)
November 10 – 21, 2025 (Teatro Campo Alegre, Porto)
January 26 – February 6, 2026 (Teatro Campo Alegre, Porto)
Support Provided:
Financial aid: €550 per week
Accommodation: Up to 4 people
Technical resources (lighting, sound, AV equipment)
Free access to Teatro Municipal do Porto activities (during residency)
Eligibility:
Open to professional artists, collectives, and companies (local, national, international)
Must not receive simultaneous funding from Porto City Council/Ágora
Proof of tax/social security compliance required
Selection Criteria:
Artistic quality & relevance (40%)
Experience & professional background (30%)
Clarity & coherence of the proposal (20%)
Suitability of the team (10%)
