Short Description
The immensely popular Defiance miniature sculpture exhibition returns again this year, continuing our 30th year celebrations.
Size Is Not Important, a highlight on our exhibition calendar, invites artists to submit sculptural works no larger than 6x6x6”, any form, any medium, within that size.
The biennial sculpture exhibition seeks to further Defiance Gallery’s reputation as a leader in the support and discovery of Australian sculptors.
Eligibility
Size Is Not Important is open to sculptors, living and working in Australia who are Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents.
Applications are open to represented or unrepresented artists.
You may submit up to 3 artworks per person.
Each entry must:
- be a sculpture in any medium
- be available for sale
- comply with the size limits – no larger than 6×6×6” (16×16×16cm)
Submission Requirements
Images:
- Each submission should be uploaded as a digital file only. The digital file must be a JPEG file, of no more than 5 MB in size. Please name your file using the format: SURNAME_First name_Title. Suggested picture size is approximately 2,000 pixels on the longest side
Files:
- Artist biographies and statements and other requested documentation must be submitted as a single-page PDF no more than 1 MB in size
