Founded in 2015, DELETE TV is an independent international platform and festival dedicated to underground video art, experimental short cinema, and AI-generated moving-image works. Operating through annual broadcast seasons (spanning Season 1 in 2015 through Season 12 in 2026), DELETE TV challenges conventional filmmaking methodologies by showcasing uncensored, perception-bending, and conceptually rigorous visual works from emerging and established artists across the globe.

DELETE TV has officially opened submissions for Season 13 (2027). Welcoming experimental filmmakers, video artists, animators, digital creators, and AI cinema directors worldwide, the festival seeks wild, uncensored moving-image works that break away from traditional narrative techniques to explore contemporary global issues. Selected short films and video artworks will enter official transmission—broadcast on television in Austria and livestreamed globally—alongside inclusion in DELETE TV's curated online archive and partner network festival screenings.
Categories
The call accepts entries across three primary competitive tracks (maximum runtime of 10 minutes or under):
- EXPERIMENTAL VIDEO ART: Non-narrative art films connecting with viewers through visually outstanding techniques.
- EXPERIMENTAL SHORTS: Art films employing outstanding visual techniques while following a narrative storyline.
- NARRATIVE SHORTS: Art films focusing on outstanding artistic narration and storytelling.
Eligibility
- Demographic Scope: Open unconditionally to filmmakers, video artists, and creative directors of all nationalities and backgrounds worldwide.
- Duration Limit: Maximum runtime of 10 minutes or under (films longer than 10 minutes are strictly excluded).
- Language Requirement: Entries must be in English or include English subtitles.
- Content Focus: Works that bend perception, demonstrate conceptual integrity, and explore unconventional approaches to moving images.

Rights & Usage Terms
Artists retain full copyright of their films. By submitting, creators grant DELETE TV non-exclusive authorization to broadcast the work in Austria, stream it globally, archive it non-commercially, use still frames and excerpts (up to 10% of total length) for promotional purposes, and present it at partner network festivals.
