Short Description
Draíocht is delighted to announce an Open Call as part of its 25th Birthday Exhibition Programme, which will take place in its Galleries between 04 March and 02 May 2026. Works shown will be selected by way of a 2-stage Open Submission.
The objective of the Open Call Exhibition is to support and celebrate work by
1) graduate visual artists of the last four years (2022 to 2025) from recognised third-level art colleges across the island of Ireland and abroad, at BA and MA levels who are from or live in Fingal and
2) early career artists who are from or live in Fingal
The Open Call exhibition will provide a platform for work from emerging artists as Draíocht enters into its
25th Birthday year.
Eligibility
- Submissions are invited from eligible visual artists who are from or live in Fingal and who have graduated (2022 to 2025 only) with a BA or MA from recognised third-level art colleges in Ireland/abroad or those who identify as early-career artists who are from or live in Fingal
- Submissions of work are invited from eligible artists working in paint, photography, sculpture, print, video, drawing, performance, and mixed media. Please note that Draíocht is unable to facilitate projections in either Gallery.
- Artists must demonstrate commitment to their practice as an artist.
- Artists must fill out the ENTRY FORM in full. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be processed. The entry form must be attached as a .PDF and must not exceed 3MB.
- All entry forms must be accompanied by a JPEG or video or audio file of your work.

Program Benefits & Awards
Each participating artist will receive a fee of €350.
