Residencies at Elf run from 1 week up to 3 months. You can apply to experiment, produce a body of work, use specific equipment, or expand on an idea.
Elf is a community of like-minded artists that fosters creativity and exploration.
It’s a place to work and rest…a place to stretch your creative wings while staying engaged with your work for extended periods.
Mediums that are currently open are book arts, drawing, jewelry, music, painting, photography, printmaking, and weaving. Coming in 2025 we’ll also have casting, lapidary, woodworking, welding/blacksmithing, paper, and cooking!
A private bedroom and studio are provided during your stay. The residencies are free, however consumables, materials, food, and travel are not included.
Fifteen artists have been accepted into Elf’s first residency running from September 1- November 2, 2024! Elf will host 4 artists at a time. Their mediums are painting, printmaking, photography, music, book arts, and jewelry.
