Organizer Information

Everwood Farmstead Foundation is a nonprofit arts organization committed to strengthening community through the power of art. Based on a 57-acre former dairy farm in the Driftless region of western Wisconsin, Everwood brings together artists, nature, and diverse communities in a spirit of radical hospitality. Its mission is to host “inspiring spaces where artists can perform, teach and work in a natural environment.” The foundation runs several programs, including an Artist Series (performances), artist workshops, and an Artist Retreat.

Title & Description

Everwood Farmstead Artist Retreat
This residency program provides professional (or serious) artists a quiet, restorative farm environment where they can focus deeply on their creative practice in solitude. Located in a refurbished dairy farm in western Wisconsin, the retreat is designed to nurture creative work through generous space, amenities, and a caring, unpressured environment. Residents can apply as individuals or in small collaborating teams (duos or trios). The retreat offers time in private working areas, comfortable lodging, and shared communal areas to foster reflection, rest, and concentrated work.
