Short Description

Since 1 January 2011, the Fleetstreet Theater Hamburg, together with the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the Hamburg Cultural Foundation and the Rudolf Augstein Foundation, has been launching a residency programme for artist groups that work as interdisciplinary as possible with the means of the performing arts, the visual arts, film and/or music.

The Fleetstreet residency programme is intended to support young groups that develop productions that are suitable for smaller theatre spaces with manageable financial resources. The funding is also intended to offer the opportunity to deepen research, test new strategies and develop work processes; the final presentations can take place as showing, interim presentations, discussions, exhibitions, workshops or similar and do not necessarily have to be performed in the form of a finished production.

Eligibility
