FluxusMuseum is an international art institution located in a former marble factory in Paros, Greece. The museum provides a space to explore ideas about life, creativity, and experimental art practices. In addition to exhibitions, FluxusMuseum offers a cinema, a digital print workshop, and an online platform, FluxusMuseumTV.
Title & Description
FluxusMuseum Prize for Experimental Video 2026
This prize celebrates experimental video creativity. Artists are invited to submit a proposal for an experimental video up to 3 minutes long. After the initial selection, 100 selected short works will be hosted on FluxusMuseumTV for public viewing and audience participation. Selected artists will receive production support and advance to the final stage (top 10), developing a complete project. Final works will be exhibited at the FluxusMuseum gallery and winners will be announced in Fall 2026.

Eligibility
- Open to international artists worldwide.
- No age restrictions.
- No formal academic degree in art required; Fluxus-inspired work is encouraged but not mandatory.
- Collective submissions are allowed; if selected, the prize/funding will be shared among the group.
Program Benefits & Awards
- Total prize fund: €45,000 for 2026.
- Initial selection: €100 for each of the 100 shortlisted videos.
- Top 10 finalists: €1,000 each and support to develop the full project.
- Exhibition of final works at the FluxusMuseum gallery.
- Online display on FluxusMuseumTV and other museum platforms.
- Artists retain ownership of their work; the museum receives non-exclusive rights for online and promotional display.

Application Requirements
- Video clip (up to 3 minutes): can be a draft, excerpt, or recorded idea presentation.
- Project description PDF (optional but recommended): explaining concept, process, and goals.
- Website or social media links (if available) to showcase previous work.

Additional Details
- Works must be new, original, single-channel, and between 1–15 minutes long.
- Artists must ensure copyright and permissions for any content used (audio, images, text).
- Submission grants the museum non-exclusive, royalty-free rights to display and promote the work online.
- Selection is conducted by a jury for the initial 100 works and then through public voting on the museum’s platform.
