Short Description
FRAU* schafft Raum (“WOMAN* Creates Space”) is a hybrid of a memorial site and an art space. For the artistic activation of the former tobacco shop, the theme of “femicide” is brought into focus in connection with the history of the site. Women* artists are invited to submit exhibition concepts that address the themes of femicide, violence against women*, women’s* rights as human rights, solidarity, and empowerment.
This current call applies to the period from December 2025 to December 2026. A total of three exhibition concepts will be selected. Each exhibition will run for approximately 16 to 17 weeks. The exhibitions will be visible around the clock and accessible to visitors during the day. A vernissage (opening event) will be organized for each exhibition.
