Short Description
One of the world’s premier design awards for students, receiving more than 7,000 entries annually from all over the world. iF Design, together with our sponsors, offers a platform for innovative student concepts. Winners gain global recognition and a portion of the 50,000 EUR prize money.
We are already looking forward to celebrating our winners in June 2026 at a two-day event in Frankfurt (Germany), the World Design Capital 2026, embedded in various activities of the WDC program.
All submissions should be in line with one of the following 15 UN SDGs.

Eligibility
If you are currently enrolled at a university or graduated no more than 2 years ago, you can participate.
Section media:
- Add 2 images of your entry. One image in landscape format and one in portrait format. (File types: JPG, PNG, max. width: 4,750 px, max. file size: 5 MB, color mode: RGB)
- Naming of the image: Entry-ID – name of entry – no. of picture e.g. 1
- Add your presentation poster as the core piece of your application!
- Use our example template for creating the poster! (File type: PDF, max. file size: 5 MB)
- Additional optional media: video link presenting your entry in more detail.
